We at Revelle Designed believe there is a fundamental change occurring in the Small Business economy. This change is being driven by what we call the New Consumer.  Today’s consumers have seen the 90’s boom times end, the dotcom bubble burst and, more recently, numerous corporate scandals.  This has created a consumer that is more careful and discerning on how they spend their money.  Now this by itself is nothing new, when times get tough consumers have always tightened their belts.  But what is new is the unprecedented amount of information and selection available to the consumer.  The New Consumer is a research specialist.  Consumers are no longer looking to the vendor to educate them, they educate themselves before seeking a vendor.  They are looking for expertise and quality.  This is where Revelle Designed comes in… how to communicate to the customer that you are a professional organization that can perform the service or provide the product and support they already know they need.
